JBoss Seam and JBoss Drools earn BOSSIEs
by Karsten Wade
Here’s a pair of awards for JBoss Seam and JBoss Drools that, a few years ago, you may not have expected to see associated with anything related to Red Hat:
JBoss Seam won in the application servers portion of Best of open source in platforms and middleware. Of the competition, “… none came close to delivering the amount of new functionality in JBoss Seam.”
JBoss Drools took a BOSSIE for business rule management, bringing a near equal level of capabilities as other, established non open source solutions, and “(a)t the current pace of development it will not lag them for long.”
One of the really cool effects about hooking up with JBoss is there is such high quality capabilities, reputations, and potential in bringing the platform and the middleware together on one ship. Great products, too.
